WhichGenes is a powerful gene set building tool. It allows the user to extract lists of genes from multiple sources in order to use them for further experiments.
WhichGenes is a bioinformatics gene set building tool. It allows the user to create and manage custom genesets extracted from several sources. Currently, WhichGenes can extract genes from: homo sapiens- GeneCards Disease Genes. Uses Gene Cards disease genes query to retrive a gene list
- Gene Ontology. Genes annotated whith a GO (via AmiGO)
- KEGG Pathway. Genes involved in KEGG Pathways
- Biocarta Pathway. Genes involved in Biocarta Pathways
- Reactome Pathway. Genes involved in Reactome Pathways
- MSigDB Positional GeneSets. GeneSets of the MSigDB's C1 Collection (GSEA)
- TargetScan microRNA targets. Uses TargetScan to retrieve genes which are microRNA targets
- Ensembl genes in bands. Uses Ensembl to provide genes in given locations or ranges
- miRBase Targets. Uses miRBase Targets version 5 to retrieve genes as target of microRNAs
- Chemical CTD. Chemical Interacting genes
- Diseases CTD. Genes related with diseases via CTD
- CancerGenes. Genes in Large-scale Sequencing Cancer Genome Projects via CancerGenes
- IntAct interacting genes. Uses IntAct to get genes whose proteins interact with the protein of a given gene(s)
- Sanger Decipher. Genes related to syndromes in Sanger's Decipher DB
mus musculus- KEGG Pathway. Genes involved in KEGG Pathways
- Biocarta Pathway. Genes involved in Biocarta Pathways
- Reactome Pathway. Genes involved in Reactome Pathways
- Ensembl genes in bands. Uses Ensembl to provide genes in given locations or ranges
